Story Behind the Art:
'I come from a family with a long tradition of bead-making. I loved to sit at my grandmother's feet, watching her thread the old heirloom family beads passed on for more than eight generations. She'd hold out the strands when she was done, saying, 'My dear granddaughter, come and try it on.' They were always beautifully made. In 1994, I started designing and crafting bead accessories. It gives me great pleasure when I see my jewelry worn and appreciated.'
